Help Lincoln Police Department raise funds for the American Cancer Society
The Lincoln Police Department is participating in the Pink Patch Project for the first time.
The entire Lincoln Police Department hopes residents will assist the American Cancer Society with its mission to free the world from cancer.
During October, officers and uniformed volunteers are wearing a pink version of their patch to raise awareness about breast cancer.
They are also selling patches and a lapel pin for $10 each. Thanks to some generous donors who paid for the first batch, the entire $10 per patch and pin will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Patches and pins are available for sale at the Lincoln Police Department’s front counter between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays in October. Accepted are cash and checks made payable to L.P.O.A.
Or send a self-addressed, stamped legal-size envelope and $10 to Lincoln Police Department, Pink Patch Project, 770 7th St., Lincoln, CA 95648.
